Hip-hop superstar Common is almost as famous now for his acting as he is for his rap. Common’s stoner movie cred is also top-tier. He cut his tooth in stoner movies when he starred with Ryan Reynolds, Alicia Keys, and Jeremy Piven in the 2007 madcap crime comedy Smokin’ Aces (2007).
He didn’t stop there. In the same year, he joined Denzel Washington, The RZA, and T.I. in the urban epic American Gangster (2007); a biopic of OG drug kingpin Frank Lucas. Common cemented his screenplay persona in the dope action-packed blowout Street Kings (2008), which featured Keanu Reeves, Terry Crews, The Game, and Cedric the Entertainer.
Superstar, comedian Craig Robinson is not new to projects like these. The stoner comedy movie royalty is famous for his long list of stoner filmography that includes exploits in Pineapple Express (2008), Zack and Miri Make a Porno (2008), Hot Tub Time Machine (2010), This Is the End (2013), Sausage Party (2016), and Dolemite Is My Name (2019). Craig is a master of this game and one to watch out for when the movie hits the silver screens.
Presently, there is no word yet of a release date for Super High.

With movies like these new comedies and past stoner hits, it’s another signal that the cannabis industry and movement are alive and well, and being pushed forward by enthusiasts, activists, celebrities, and everyday people. Medical cannabis and CBD products have become widespread across the US and other nations in recent years and there’s no real end in sight.
